About the Role


Job Overview: This position will be responsible for supplying the production with materials used in prepared & confectionary popcorn production. Employee will be responsible for maintaining the needs of the warehouse and to ensure a safe, clean and productive work environment for self and other warehouse personnel. Loads and unloads trucks efficiently completing all paperwork needed associated with loads. Pulls customer orders accurately, efficiently and with due concern for product quality and condition. Performs various inventory audits as directed. Assists in the training current/new Warehouse workers.

Essential Functions:

1. Warehouse Operations / Inventory - Prepares orders and processes requests by pulling materials; packing boxes; and placing orders. Performs warehouse inventory responsibilities. Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently to minimize risk to personnel and damage to inventory and equipment. Oversees product flow as it moves through the warehouse and keeps quality standards high for audits.

2. Quality Assurance – Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality. Inspects quality of products and accurately matches work orders. Performs quality check requirements by following organization standards and completes related paperwork. Maintains cleanliness of assigned area and department. Identifies damages or missing products and notifies supervisor immediately.

3. Safety Compliance & Participation - Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains professional and technical knowledge as required in the position described above. Ensures safety rules and standard operating procedures are followed at all times. Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed.

Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Requirements


  • General Requirements:

    High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior work experience in manufacturing or food industry is a plus. Must be able to read and understand shipping and receiving paperwork Demonstrates ability to work under pressure and within time constraints. Must have good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity. Basic mathematic and measurement skills are required. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Forklift Certification is required

  • Ability to concentrate for an extended period of time and to accurately handle extensive detail. Ability to effectively and professionally handle the stressful demands of a manufacturing environment. General physical tasks could be described as periodic standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and reaching above shoulder level. Lift up to 80 lbs. Operates pallet jacks. Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to noise, dust particles and/or fumes. Satisfactory ability to schedule own time effectively to accomplish multiple tasks. Effective communication and ability to present information in a clear and understandable manner in both written and verbal form. Ability to accept constructive criticism. Must have ability to prioritize responsibilities and adapt to changes when necessary. Ability to comply with all company policies, safety, practices and standards of performance. Fast paced environment with multiple areas of responsibility.
